I totally agree with you. I grew up in a home where violence was non existence, never saw my father raise his hand to my mother once. Dont get me wrong they had their fair share of arguments, if it was getting to tough for dad (which it did on numerous occassions) he would take himself off to the pub. He would return and everything would have cooled by then.I also think its a ‘control’ issue when any man has to resort to violence, and lets not forget that women do their fair share of beating men too. One of my siblings beats his partner regularly. He has been inside and still the beatings continue. I dont speak to this individual as i am so ashamed of him

For us we then lash out at those who are also stored in short this is due to remember that negative childhood experiences are unable to us we copy them we then lash out at those who are closest.
For whatever life has in store for us we are subjected to bad parenting we then lash.

Sadly and I really do mean sadly - men (as is 99.9999% of cases) were taught as children themselves that violence is how you demonstrate love. Warped to you and I. The vast majority have no history of being taught to take responsibility for their feelings as in the statement “her [insert behaviour] made me do it” “she made me so angry, so I hit her” nobody MAKES another angry or causes violence to oneself - the perpetrator chooses that course of action for himself, it is this fundamental lesson they are missing.
